Divisions and Tee Boxes

 

The default division and tee boxes you’re assigned to are determined by your index a couple of days before each tournament.  The following is the metrics for those assignments.

8.0 - 12.9	Gold	Gold
13.0 17.9	Gold / Blue	Gold Blue Combo
18.0 - 22.9	Blue	Blue
23 +	Blue / Silver	Blue / Silver Combo

 

If you would be happier playing forward, we do allow you to move up one tee box (IE if your index assigns you to the Gold division and tees, you can request to compete and play in the Gold / Blue Division).  To make this request, please email djbarthel@gmail.com so we can make a note of your preference.

We do not allow players to request to play in a lower division and longer tee boxes.  For the 2025 season only, we will make an exception for the Black / Gold flight players to play the tips since this tee box combination was introduced after the start of this year's league.

 

Tournament Day

An email will be sent 1-2 days prior to each tournament that will show you the division and tees you’ve been assigned to for that round.  This information will also be on the tournament Sign Up Sheet in the pro shop when you check in for your tee time.  If you’ve requested to play forward and the tees published are incorrect, we apologize for missing the adjustment.  Feel free to play the correct tees and send a message to the Tournament Director at djbarthel@gmail.com stating which tees you played.  We’ll get them adjusted (which changes the strokes you’ll be getting) before the results are sent out.
